COVID-19

In addition to limiting our class sizes to no more than six participants per instructor, as opposed to the usual ten to twelve we are ensuring all our classroom environments allow for a minimum of six feet of social distancing.

We always thoroughly decontaminate and clean our equipment before each class. This includes disinfecting with Oxivir Tb wipes, replacing all manikin lungs, and ensuring everyone in class utilizes their provided personal protective equipment. Because of the coronavirus pandemic we are taking even more precautions, including ensuring each participant has their own equipment not to be shared by anyone in class.

The American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council is a 50+ member panel of nationally recognized medical, scientific, aquatics, and academic experts from across the country.
